  • I get good search results on my own —
I have achieved results that include saving £81,302 on PPC spend. This came with a 21.3% rise in site sessions. Add a 35.2% reduction in bounce rate, and 599% increase in advert CTR (click through rate). Plus a 25.1% reduction on CPC (cost per click) and 89.2% reduction in Cost per Conversion. And a 48.3% increase in organic web traffic.
Of course there was SEM and SEO. There was also a little strategic Social Media Marketing too. one element of which landed a €480,000 contract.
But that's enough about me.
I am interested in strategic partnerships.
This is a new idea. It uses the knowledge and experience of a man who has been building websites since 1996. And getting those websites found in search.

A lot has changed since 1996. You don't have to submit your website for inclusion on Yahoo, Hotbot or Altavista, for example. Google was not around.
But a lot has stayed the same since then. Quality, hard work, data driven decisions, flair, knowledge and expertise. And a desire to keep on learning.

I am building a new model, where I will operate a Blue Ocean Strategy. Together, we will have no competitors because we will create a completely new market space.

I will cooperate only with operators who excel. Only if you are ethical, and treat your customers well You shun all black-hat and grey-hat tactics.
I don't want to compete for your customers or do the same work you do. I want to harness your skills and build synergy so that you and your customers will benefit.

I work in a Blue Ocean. We will do that together.

Most people and companies operate their business in a Red Ocean. I don't. I won't. And you don't need to.

Blue Ocean strategy is the simultaneous pursuit of differentiation and low cost to open up a new market space and create new demand. It is about creating and capturing uncontested market space, thereby making the competition irrelevant. It is based on the view that market boundaries and industry structure are not a given and can be reconstructed by the actions and beliefs of industry players.

Think Google. Think Apple.

So I won't be operating in a bloody red ocean where thousands of people are fighting for the same customers, all offering the same services.

With you, I will offer new services in a new market space.

I will co-operate with trusted partners like you to deliver a new service. You can continue to provide your existing services to your customers. What I will do is give you more business, and the opportunity to introduce your customers to new services.

Was a founder and Director of The Russian Communications Company in 1993 and NewsBase in 1995.

I was building web sites by hand in 1996. I was building sites for major corporate UK customers including Scottish Financial Enterprise and The Alba Centre by 1998.

Survived the dotcom boom and bust. Started blogging in 2003. Joined LinkedIn in 2005. Started writing LinkedIn profiles in 2006. Was named by the BBC as the 'world's first Digital Biographer in 2007.

Was hired by The Next Web as their first ever UK Editor in 2008. (Next web was acquired by the FT in 2019). Worked freelance in Digital Marketing on an interim or contract basis from 2010-2016, before becoming a LinkedIn Doctor.

Now, in 2021, after two years of planning, I have created Spot on Search.
